Wide Angle Social Development Organisation, supported by Child Rights and You (CRY), organised the Annual Children’s Cultural Meet 2025 at Moiranghanuba Lai Mamang Community Hall, Sagolband, Imphal. Held under the theme “Investing in our children is investing in our future,” the event offered children a space of hope and positivity amid Manipur’s ongoing conflict, reinforcing the commitment to peace, unity, and resilience.

 

 The programme was attended by Ksh. Bhaktakumar (Ten-time Mr India), Soubam Tomba Luwang (President, Semgat Sagatpa Committee), and Montu Ahanthem (Secretary, Wide Angle), among others.

 

 The (Late) Ahanthem Ongbi Haobam Lembi Devi Meritorious Award, sponsored by Mary Hemchand, was presented to five outstanding students from five remedial centres across 18 villages.

 

 Children from the Thaoroijam, Maklang, Ngairangbam, Heinoupok, and Salam Remedial Centres showcased traditional dances, Thang-Ta, and a group performance of the state song “Sanaleibak Manipur,” celebrating culture and young talent.
